CONSERVATION MEETING: The Gateway Resources Conservation and Development Council annual meeting will be at 7 p.m. in the Community Room at First State Community Bank, 1022 N. Highway 47 in Warrenton. FISH FRY: Wright City Project Graduation will host a fish fry from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. at the four-way stop in Wright City.

PUB CRAWL: Second annual Warren County Jaycees Crawlin' for the Cause pub crawl. Tickets are $30, includes a free well drink or draft beer at each bar, a commemorative pub crawl cup, breakfast at the American Legion and transportation. E-TRASH COLLECTION: The University of Missouri Extension will host a computer and television waste collection from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Warren County Extension Center, 107 W. Walton in Warrenton. Appointments required. Call 636-456-3444. Cost is $5 per monitor or television.

March 22

DANCE: Frank Stanek and the Country Limits will perform from 2-5 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 28855 Legion Trail in Warrenton.

SOIL CONSERVATION: The Warren County Soil and Water Conservation District will have its 45th annual meeting at 5 p.m. at the Warren County Extension Center, 107 W. Walton St. in Warrenton. Events include awards, special recognitions and the countywide winner of the district's fourth-grade 2009 poster contest. Susie Oberdalhoff, known as the "Erma Bombeck of Agriculture," will speak. CONCERT: The Red Hill Band will perform at 7 p.m. at the Belle Starr Playhouse & Cinema, 112 E. Booneslick Road in Warrenton. Admission is free. Donations will be accepted.

MEET CANDIDATES: The Wright City Area Chamber of Commerce will host a Meet the Candidates night at 6 p.m. at Wright City Middle School, 100 Bell Road. Candidates in races on the April 7 ballot have been invited to attend.

April 4

FISH FRY: The Dynomite 4-H Club and the Catholic Youth Council will host a fish fry from 5-8 p.m. at the St. Ignatius Community Center, 691 Mill Road in Concord Hill. Cost is $9 for adults and $4 for children 10 and under. Carryouts available. Menu includes fish, french fries, green beans, coleslaw, spaghetti, applesauce and desserts.

April 9

LEGAL SERVICES: An attorney from Legal Services of Eastern Missouri will offer no-cost legal assistance from 10 a.m.-noon at the office of the North East Community Action Corp. (NECAC), 120 East Main St. in Warrenton. The attorney will assist low-income persons experiencing civil legal problems excluding criminal and traffic court matters. April 18

FOREST MANAGEMENT: The Ruffed Grouse Society and the Missouri Department of Conservation will have a forest management workshop for private landowners at 9 a.m. on the Bill Haag property near Portland. Foresters and biologists will discuss tree identification, forest management, cost share opportunities, wildlife management and timber harvesting. Landowners may tour approximately 700 acres of actively managed forests, woodlands and glades. There is an optional 6 a.m. start for anyone wanting to hear a ruffed grouse drumming. Lunch is provided by the Ruffed Grouse Society.

April 18-19

HOME AND GARDEN SHOW: The 10th annual Home and Garden Show will be from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. April 18 and from noon-3 p.m. April 19 at the Missouri Army National Guard Armory, 1 Armory Road, just off the North East Service Road in Warrenton. Admission is free. Call 636-456-2530 for booth information.

BIKERS AGAINST CHILD ABUSE: The I-70 chapter of Bikers Against Child Abuse meets at 6:30 p.m. the second Saturday of each month at Foley Auction House in Jonesburg.
